Beautiful Smiles

Derek got his braces off.  It was a brief run of braces, only 9 months.  I feel like I am more excited for the boys to get their braces off than they are.

Treyisims

Trey is a funny guy.  I always call him the life of the party...because he is.  Even when he was a baby.

A few months back we went through a bunch of sickness in the house.  Derek had Strep again, and there was a few other virus' going around.  Trey was saying the dinner prayer and said "please bless Derek that he will be unsickified"   We didn't know that was a word, but we knew exactly what he meant =be well.

Yesterday I was having Trey help me do some yard work and we were pulling weeds.  I first had him spray some of the weeds. I thought he would enjoy that, which he did because he treats the sprayer as a rifle and he shoots at the weeds.  He did that for a bit until he was tired and his fingers were sore.  He came over and started to help me pull some of the weeds out of the ground.  I gave him the tool to make it easier.  He got excited about that too because in the video game "Plants vs Zombies" they use the same tool etc. etc. so then he pretended pulling the weeds was like playing the video game.  I was excited about that better than complaining.

Trey was working pretty hard, he came across this weed that was pretty big and took some extra work to get this one out.  As soon as he got it out, he said "that was a bastard and a half" I tried not to laugh because he used it was a perfect description.  It is a word he should not be using.  I told him it was a bad word, he said what's a bad word and he kept repeating it, questioning that it was actually a bad word.   I told him he has been watching too much You Tube videos with bad words.  He assured me he just made that word up.  I think he was afraid I would cut off the You Tube, so he didn't want to give up the source.

And then there was this gem from a few weeks ago.  Trey and Curtis needed to shoes, so they went out together and had a good time.

"Dad I promise if you stop at McDonalds and get me an ice cream cone I won't spill, or even let Mom know." 

Then when we get home and we are busted Treyson Johnson throws me under the bus and says "It only made a mess because how fast Dad was driving."
