6th Grade Graduation/Start of Summer

Sixth Grade Graduation

Derek had a rough year. Sixth grade is supposed to fun.  The year actually ended well for Derek but he was so bitter and scorned from events that happened earlier in the year, he was so done with Hancock and Elementary school.  He is looking forward to 7th grade at Bogle Middle School.  We are all hoping for a fresh start.

The graduation was nice, the PTO had breakfast for the families of the 6th graders, although I don't know why we need to have a graduation ceremony, for Pre school, Kindergarten, 6th Grade, 8th grade, and 12th grade.  They had a slide show of each kid and had the parents submit pics from Kindergarten and a current picture.  Here is Derek's

Dax has been wanting to get a Dungeon's and Dragons group together for a while, he tried to start a club at school, but it never really took off.  Then he got a group of kids from church interested.  They came over the night school got out and it was a huge success.  They kids loved it and they have continued to come for a few weeks.
